Unknown-1Boingo Wireless inked a global roaming agreement with Deutsche Telekom that will give DT’s business customers access to Boingo’s more than 1 million hotspots in more than 50 countries.

Through the newly launched DTAG product “Business WiFi,” Deutsche Telekom business users can connect their mobile devices and laptops to Boingo’s Wi-Fi at key locations, including airports, major hotels and shopping and city centers, among other locations.

The Deutsche Telekom team is always looking for ways to better serve our growing business customer base

said Hans A. Panse, vice president for Deutsche Telekom AG, in a press release.

Our collaboration with Boingo will simplify connectivity for our on-the-go business clients, providing one-click access to high-quality hotspots where they need them most, including airports, hotels and high-traffic destinations the world over.

The deal includes access to hotspots in places like Dubai International Airport, the world’s busiest international airport, as well as more than 100,000 Time Warner Cable hotspots in the U.S., among other recent strategic network additions, according to the press release.

Boingo said that with this agreement, Deutsche Telekom joins other top-tier carriers and wireless service providers including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, LG U+, NTT DoCoMo and more in extending the Boingo Wi-Fi network to their customers.

Boingo is due to report its second-quarter 2015 financial results on Aug. 6. Earlier this year, Boingo CEO David Hagan said Boingo was working with Apple, Microsoft and Google to get Passpoint certified on their handsets.
