Since 2008 Roaming Hubs have started to emerge the most famous being Comfone and Vodafone Roaming Services, but others include Orange, BICS and Link2One (Telefonicas Hub).

They simply create a central point for the exchange of Wholesale International Roaming Agreements between Operators, testing and launch of agreements. They simply facilitate and optimise the Wholesale Roaming connections between Operators internationally.

New Agreement types are used and they are today standard GSMA Permanent Reference Documents.

Roaming Hubs probably account for approximately 10% of all Roaming Agreement connections today.
